The U.S. defeated the Netherlands, 2-0, to win their fourth Women’s World Cup title in 28 years. The victory came after rounds where the defending champions faced teams that were designed to take the Americans down.

Our Utah Falconz took on the Texas Elite Spartans for the Championship of the WNFC. They played with heart, desire, and strength. They led through the entire first half and into the 4th quarter before Texas took the lead. Our ladies played great and should hold their heads high, if the ball bounces our way a few times in the 4th, and we would be bringing home the Championship. It was a great season team.
