Huge thanks to Factum Mixed Martial Arts and Crossfit for hosting the Falconz Games yesterday! Congrats to all the athletes and who competed. Our very own Falconz athlete Lexie Floor who won 1st place in the women’s heat, nice work!

Our very own Tina Mangum is being inducted into the Women's Football Hall of Fame in Las Vegas on November 30, 2018!Warm welcome to our next inductee, Tina Mangum from Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Tina was destined to play football, after all with 6 sisters and 3 brothers, they practically had enough players to form a team themselves. Tina has never missed a game due to injury, something she probably picked up playing street football with the boys when she was younger.
Tina found the Utah Falconz while she was in graduate school. She was able to play part time while she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She currently works at McKay-Dee Hospital mainly with the intubated/ventilated patients in the ICU. She loves the opportunity to help people who are sick or hurt get back on their feet again and live the most healthy, normal lives possible.
Some say that offensive line is the least glorified position in football – the only way that they’re recognized is by how well the quarterback and the rest of the offense plays. Well, in Tina’s case, the Utah Falconz have played for 4 national championships and won 2 in the 5 years she has been with the team. We could mention the record of how the team is 49 and 2 with Tina leading the team in pancake blocks or that her paving the way as guard enabled the Utah Falconz running backs to rush for 2,662 yards and score 36 TDs last year alone. But that would mean singling out the offensive line for this type of success – and everyone knows that lineswomen are the unsung heroes. Well, this lineswoman doesn’t go unnoticed. In fact, the Moscow Dragonflies were so impressed with her they asked Tina to come join them in Russia for their 2017 season.
Tina has loved the opportunity to be play for the Falconz and claims it has given her another family and opportunities she never had growing up. Like many of us, she is happy to be a role model for younger girls, showing them women can be strong, beautiful, and still play the physical game of football.
