- Desa-Rae Robertson
- Defensive end
- Years Experience
- Salt Lake City, UT
Not many hard-hitting, fearless Defensive End football players are also fun-loving, resilient, and kind…..AND play the violin. But that’s Desa-Rae Robertson! She was born in West Valley City, Utah, and grew up with a younger sister. She has always loved and played basketball starting with Jr. Jazz, then in Jr High, and in high school at Hunter High as well. Des is no stranger to hard work, dedication, and focus. When she found women’s football, she knew it would be her next sports adventure. This will be her 7th year playing DL, and she absolutely loves it. Her favorite aspect of being part of a team, is that she has met so many amazing people through playing football, and feels her teammates are her second family. She cannot imagine her life without them.
Desa-Rae received her Associates degree in Social Work from Salt Lake Community College in 2011. Just recently, she received her Bachelors of Science degree also in Social Work from the University of Utah – go Des! She loves to volunteer, particularly with children, as working with them is one of her passions. She currently works at the Christmas Box House and believes in the magic of giving and selflessness. As she prepares for the upcoming football season, her new hobby is “strong man” workouts – which definitely are NOT for the faint of heart. You can see her flipping tires and pulling trucks all with an adorable smile on her face! Her favorite sports memory is when she put all her gear on, including her mouth guard and looked in the mirror. She then knew it was time, to go do what all Defensive Ends do……..SACK THE QB! Des is excited to be a part of the Falconz organization, as she feels she is surrounding herself with people that believe in her, and coaches and friends that will help her thrive in an amazing environment. She will be an integral member of the Falconz – we love you Desa-Rae!!!!!
